Breaking News from Green Bay! The Packers are shaking things up, and these roster moves could have a significant impact on their upcoming games. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the following transactions on Saturday, October 11, 2025:
- Kicker Lucas Havrisik has been added to the active roster.
- Tackle Brant Banks has been signed to the practice squad.
- Defensive Lineman Deslin Alexandre has been released from the practice squad.
Let's dive into the details, shall we?
First up, Lucas Havrisik (6-2, 185), a second-year player from the University of Arizona, is stepping up to the plate. He's no stranger to the NFL scene, having bounced around a bit. In 2022, he was on the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad. Then, he spent the 2023 offseason and training camp with the Colts. He also spent time on the Cleveland Browns' practice squad in 2023 before getting his shot with the Los Angeles Rams, where he played in nine games. During his time with the Rams, Havrisik made 15 out of 20 field goals and 19 of 22 extra points. He even managed seven touchbacks on eight kickoffs. Talk about a leg! He then returned to the Browns for the 2024 offseason and training camp and was on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad last season. But wait, there's more! In 2025, Havrisik also played in 10 games for the Dallas Renegades of the United Football League, successfully making 22 of 25 field goals. He'll be sporting the number 35 for the Packers.
Next, we have Brant Banks. He originally joined the Packers as an undrafted free agent from Rice on May 2, 2025. He's already had a taste of the Packers' regular season, appearing in two games. Banks was claimed off waivers by the Tennessee Titans on October 1st but was released on October 9th. Now he's back with the Packers, wearing number 72.
And finally, Deslin Alexandre is no longer with the team.
